Convert files
- Individual mode may contain files from different categories. Choose a separate target and options for every file.
- In Batch, the first file sets the category. Mixed formats are allowed within it, such as PNG, JPG and WebP or MP3, WAV and FLAC.
- One shared target format and shared options apply to the entire batch; other categories are skipped.
- Start conversion and download results separately or together.
- Completed files are only processed again after changing the target or settings.
Compress files
- Single file handles one item with its own settings and a large preview.
- In Batch, the first file sets the format, such as JPG, PNG or MP3. Files in other formats are skipped.
- The shared configuration shows only the image, video, audio, PDF or archive settings relevant to that format.
- Each batch preview loads only after opening its preview dropdown.
- Choose a preset or custom values; stronger compression usually trades quality for size.
- Video uses WebCodecs with browser-selected acceleration when available and keeps FFmpeg/WebAssembly as a fallback.
PDF tools
Choose merge, split, extract, remove, rotate, reorder or images to PDF first. Then add the required files and enter page ranges such as 1-3,5.
OCR
Add an image or scanned PDF, select every source language present and choose an output format. The document language controls metadata and text direction; it does not translate text.
Progress and cancellation
Supported engines report progress. Some browser or library operations only provide coarse milestones. Cancelling stops the active process while completed results remain available.
Troubleshooting
- Update the browser and reload the page.
- Keep enough memory and disk space available.
- For video, prefer common codecs such as H.264/AAC in MP4 or VP9/Opus in WebM.
- Protected, encrypted or damaged files may not be processable.
- Report reproducible errors with the file type, browser and message, but never upload confidential samples publicly.
Browser support
Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari versions work best. WebCodecs, AVIF, HEIC, media codecs and large WebAssembly modules vary by browser and operating system.
